So here we are getting ready to enter a new weekend, and there has been no update of the last!
We had a really nice one, went to the Farmer's Market (his first!) downtown, carted Lachlan around in the wrap, so you could see his little bald head poking out. Also, went to his first birthday party, fun, fun. The first time for me and jas to be around so many adults who had small children. First time being around so many children. Very fun, and Lachlan was great, very intrigued by the other bigger kids, and intriguing to them as well. (He was the youngest. )
He rolled over from his back to his tummy for the first time this week. I say for the first time, because it was the first time I saw it, but apparently it has been occuring a little while. So I yelled excitedly to announce this development, and everyone else (Jason, Melissa, my Mom) were unimpressed. Oh yeah, he's been doing that a few days. Oh yeah, thanks for letting me know! Exciting to me anyhow!
He is very interested in my little bracelets and watches, and likes to see, grab, and pull into his mouth. Very cute. I need to carefully choose jewelry now.
I try very ( by try I mean think about) hard to not let him watch tv, but he is still so fascinated by it, and the new thing is phones. He loves our iphones, and Melissa's blackberry. Love them. Like his face just lights up. So much for wooden toys and using the imagination. We will have to work on that.
