Went to Marathon and stayed at the Gage Hotel for the weekend, It was our 10th anniversary!! And we have this gorgeous new baby as our gift to one another! We'd had a great dinner on Friday (the day of the anniversary) at Garlic Press, (Jason had the steak, I had the lamb) and then headed out Saturday morning for some down time for just the three of us. Surprise. There is no down time with a baby, but at least we got away. We had another nice gluttonous dinner on Saturday night, Lachlan was great in the hotel restaurant, no fuss. Jason is terribly excited about getting Lachlan out to swim, and so Sunday he very carefully eased him into the cold (but beautiful) pool. (Too cold for me )So there you go; Lockie's first swim! Another hotel guest, with her 12-week baby girl, Olivia,(Lockie is now 10 weeks!) commented on how red his hair looks!?! My friend Scarlett had a dream about Lockie before he was born, and he had...reddish hair! So we will see, I never thought a baby of mine would have blue eyes either, (green maybe) but that's genes for you...Melina
